YOKOSUKA, JAPAN – Students at the Sullivans School "SWIM" to join the Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) school wide carnival! The Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) team at the Sullivans School planned and implemented a fun carnival where students paid 15 "Dolphin Dollars" to have some fun!

Dolphin Dollars are part of the PBIS program at the Sullivans School. Students earn them throughout the year for showing "SWIM" characteristics.

SWIM stands for:

Show Integrity

Work Hard

Inspire Others

Make good safe, choices

The carnival allowed students from around the school to celebrate these positive behaviors with a variety of fun activities like: cornhole, putt putt golf, a dance floor, special VIP guest Starlight (the school mascot), tricycle races, and more! The MTSS committee partnered with the community and the PTO provided popsicles for all students who attended the carnival. Teachers from around the school ran booths to support this wonderful event!
