CAReer Day Counselor Connection

YOKOSUKA, JAPAN — Students at the Sullivans Elementary School recently learned about careers that require vehicle operations through an experiential learning experience — a Car Career Day Extravaganza.

PSCD, Sure Start, Kindergarten, first and second grade students toured a static display of vehicles, gaining knowledge about different careers, exploring the tools of the trade for various professions, and conversing with current career professionals.

"The presenters were amazing, and the students had a terrific time exploring the vehicles,” shared Sure Start teacher Ms. Colom.

This experiential learning opportunity was a fun and educational way to introduce students to various professions and inspire future career exploration.
